The six Zoom meetings will guide us through:
Vision & Priorities: Establish your overall aesthetic, guest experience and design investment priorities.
Design Concept: Review the creative direction, palette, textures, patterns and inspiration.
Furniture & Layout: Refine lounge groupings, dining areas, bars and the flow between celebration spaces.
Design Details: Review stationery, florals, lighting and the supporting decorative elements.
Design Refinement: Confirm selections, review proposals and resolve outstanding design decisions.
Final Production Review: Walk through the approved layouts, styling details, installation schedule and weather contingency plans.
The studio meeting offers an opportunity to experience furniture, materials and combinations in person. The site visit allows us to assess the spaces, access and placement considerations that will inform the design and installation plan.
Develop a cohesive design concept, supported by mood boards, a color palette and recommendations for materials, patterns and finishes.
Guide the overall look of stationery and event signage, collaborating with your stationer on selections and visual consistency.
Develop floral design direction, including palette, arrangement styles, scale and placement, in collaboration with your florist.
Develop lighting design direction, considering both atmosphere and practical illumination, and coordinate the design with the lighting provider.
Curate and secure furniture, tabletop, linens and decorative rentals within the agreed design scope and approved budget.
Develop scaled floor plans for the cocktail hour and reception, including fair-weather and inclement-weather arrangements, in coordination with your venue, tent company and relevant vendors.
Coordinate the placement of lounges, dining tables, communal high-tops, bars, food stations, the band stage and dance floor to support comfortable gathering and guest movement.
Identify opportunities to source or customize distinctive pieces, with priority sourcing and customization coordination, subject to availability, lead times and approved costs.
Provide a 10% discount on A Family Affair’s in-house rental inventory booked for your celebration. Delivery, labor, fees, outside rentals and customization are priced separately.
Your engagement includes six hours of onsite design production with Paula and one assistant designer to bring the approved design together.
During this time, we will oversee placement of the design elements within our scope, guide furniture arrangements, style lounges and decorative details, and collaborate with the relevant vendors on the finishing touches. Pillows, accessories, signage and personal items will be thoughtfully placed to create a setting that feels complete and distinctly yours.
The production schedule will be established around venue access and vendor installation times. Rental delivery, unloading, furniture-moving crews, specialty installation and breakdown are quoted separately, as are any additional onsite hours.
This service covers creative direction and design production. Full wedding planning, guest logistics, ceremony coordination and management of the wedding-day timeline require a separate scope. Stationery production, florals, lighting equipment, rentals and custom fabrication are additional investments approved by you before booking.
